Gutted about Braintree, but won't shed too many tears for the Ricay, I'm afraid (Gazza aside).

 

The very fact that either Leyton or Eastleigh will be in our division next season just goes to show what a sh*t league we're in really, doesn't it?

 

Perhaps Lippy can give us Conference National football as his retirement gift.

They certainly do, Gazza.

 

According to some sources, they were the subject of a very serious drunken assault by two members of EFM at our match there last season. The allegation has been strenuously denied, needless to say.

[sorry Gazza, I couldn't resist it. Commiserations from me for Tuesday night. The only good news for you chaps is that you have Buzz Lightyear for another season or so. The post saying what a super chap Steve Kent is and what a wonderful job he is doing and the firm foundations what he is building was particularly amusing. I hope he wiped it while he was up there. Who will be the new manager at Cressing Road do you think?]

That's okay...got used to you chaps...(it's what 18 months of telling Thornsey to [****!!****] off does to ya)...

 

New manager at Cressing Road...dunno...it should be Georgie Borg but Harding and himself spend too much time trying to "meddle" with other clubs...he's done okay old Georgie and we all have a love/hate relationship with him. I'm looking forward to continuing the banter next season...

 

Steve has done quite a bit down at our gaff and when we do get promoted, you'll like the new bar...big enough to hide Thornsey away, even. The only complaint I have is the beer isn't all that...Some ale on tap would be nice...

 

Considering where we were two season's, we've come on...it'll just take us a little longer to get further up the table...and I can wait, the play off's were a disapointment but no one has a given right to win a game of football. I've enjoyed the PA and announcing work and the seasons football...

 

(....I can hear the calls of scarfer, coming from you lot now...)
