At last!! Some real news!! [No. 317]

As I was queuing at the newsagents this morning in the fiction section for my copy of the Labour Party manifesto, my eye was attracted to the back page of the St. Albans Observer.

Lord Lippiatt has signed 19 year old Aaron Nowacki who has just been released by Fulham. A former England U15 International, Aaron is seen as a replacement for Gary Elphick who has returned to Brighton. Kezie Ibe and Gavin Milton have returned to Yeovil and Staines respectively.

Dean Hooper has left the club by mutual consent. His disciplinary record was taken into account, apparently.

A new striker to partner Lee Clarke and Tom Beech may be announced next week.

Ranbir Bjorn Marwa is expected to sign for Dagenham & Redbridge today.

[i'm beginning to have my doubts about Lord Lippiatt. Doesn't he know that the form is to have 106 triallists, including at least two 43 year old ex Premiership players take part in 27 pre-season friendlies in order to build the excitement for the hundreds of thousands of Saintsfans eagerly awaiting the start of the new campaign?]

Talking of pre-season friendlies, Colin is expected to announce four pre-season friendlies at home and two away games within the next week or so.

Manchester United Under 8 Reserves are expected to be confirmed as a Manchester United XI providing they return from their pre-season tour of Thailand in time. Admission prices are £25 adults, £26.50 concessions. No freeloaders. No. It didn't actually say that. I made that bit up.

Known as 'Ram' Marwa, Callum. I saw him beat Nastase in the final at Wimbledon. Ice-cool.

No, that's a different one. That was George Borg. Longer hair then, too.

Ram was signed from Grays at the end of last year. He has done particularly well over the last three months. Vice captain. Midfielder.
