I have seen that the details for what competitions waltham abbey have entered for is now out. Does anyone know what competitions we are entered for?

same as us, without Youth Cup I think.......meaning FA Cup and Vase, we will be going in the London Senior cup again and Essex Cups. Thats enough

I understood that clubs could in let us say the transitional reaches of the football family could choose their competition and I would have thought that we would not choose the FA trophy!

 

Clubs like Hemel would prefer the trophy and the promoted clubs + say Erithetc would prefer the VASE but I may be wrong on this. In any event I would think that we would get exemption to the second round of the VASE and would not have to bother with the preliminary rounds of the FA Cup but enter at 1st Qualifying.

All Conference, Southern, Isthmian and UniBond clubs are designated a Trophy place regardless, the rest of us (you?) are Vase fodder.

The days when you had two clubs in the same division playing in Vase/Trophy are now long gone.

One thing the FA got right at least.

Looking at the bulletin you are in the Youth Cup as well...what chance us meeting in the FA Cup or Vase then!
