Personally, I think it was in anyway, but if not then it could well have been a penalty.

I was watching it last night with a Liverpool fan. The 4 angles, that where shown on itv at half time, only 2 of them seemed to be a goal. Liverpool battled well I thought, Good luck to them!

spot on UB...everyone is harping on about the goal but the truth is that it was a nailed on penalty and the goalie could well have been sent off....

 

I personally think that the ref made the (right) decision to give the goal easily to avoid fckn the game up by sending off the chelsea keeper...

 

liverpool were good value for the 'lock in' of chelsea....

thought that our penalty against hayes fell into that category as well, but apparently, it fell into the category of the ref 'bottling it'.

well despite whether it was a gaol or not (i slightly leanin towards it actually bein a goal) the ref cleared it n theres not much that can be done now anywayz.

although I do agree with you about last night....if it was a pen he would have had to go.....as I have said...the ref made a very sensible decision in giving the dubious goal....
