Not normally a poster on your forum or a sympathsisor with some of the views expressed espeicially about my first loyalty CCFC.

 

But this morning I can only say I am truly GUTTED for you!

 

Your club has potential to succeed at CS level, Leyton with it's 2 illiterate supporters does not! I could go on.

 

Just to agree about what progress you have made and what scant reward you all have for it.

 

Well done for that and "it will get better"

 

Finally what of Matt Jones. I think he was the best signing u made last year. he turned us round under that idiot Moseley and it may be that he has had a big imput to your success too

Very surprised at last night's result, and really hope Leyton don't progress any further. Overall tho' would have thought a very good season for Billericay Town FC and supporters. Had that great

Cup run and gave those Conference lads a run for their money - can only see even better times ahead for the club.

Now Ricky are out I hope Leyton to progress ahead of Braintree/Eastleigh (a little behind with the results I'm afraid) - surely they'll be easier to beat!

 

Will also save the risk of having to go to Braintree and locate their ground again.

Leyton, didnt they used to be called Leyton Pennant? can a club really exist for so long if they keep changing their name?

 

Leyton wont make the N'wide South my guess is it'll be AFC Leyton United

Leyton Pennant are now called Waltham Forest and are a completely different club.

Just to avoid anyone getting their facts wrong:

 

Leyton joined the Southern League in 1905-06. 1975 Merged with Wingate to form Leyton-Wingate.

1992 Leyton-Wingate changed name back to Leyton.

1995 Merged with Walthamstow Pennant to form Leyton Pennant. 1997 New Leyton club formed. A statement from lawyers Richard West Freeman Christofi reads: "Please note that by Order of the High Court Chancery Division dated 26 July 2002, in an action brought against Leyton Pennant Football Club and the Football Association, Leyton Football Club (now incorporated as a Limited Company) of Wingate Stadium Lea Bridge Road Leyton has effectively been restored as Leyton Football Club, the unincorporated club formed in 1868; has had its membership to the FA restored; has had its history dating back to 1868 restored and the order also requires Leyton Pennant to refrain in any way from holding itself out to being Leyton Football Club.

1997-98 Founder members of Spartan South Midlands League. 1998-99 Joined Essex Intermediate League. 1999-00 Joined Essex Senior League. 2002-03 Joined Isthmian League Division Two. 2004-05 Joined Premier Division on reorganisation.
