Hi Junior, yes we were there. First half we were up on the side terrace, on the railway side, about halfway into Abbey's half, if you see what I mean. We were next to the large and loud Abbey half-wit in the white, with the Abbey scarf. At one point he was loudly telling everyone that the Town players are all on 2-300 quid a week! I siad it was nearer 500, then his mate started very seriously explaining that it's not that much, he knows one of our younger players....... gawd help us!!!

Second half we were in more or less the same position but at the other end. We were next to three St. Hilaires. I though of asking two of them if they had their boots with them......

The Invisible Student was on the other side with two of his pals.

We saw your dad and Happy as we slunk miserably out. Never saw or heard MIMM though!

Beautiful South was indeed the name of a band. Wossisname out of the House Martins, name escapes me. Girl had a nice voice. Remember "Don't marry, her, have me"? (one word was different on the album track version - no I did not buy it). One about I Need a Little Time, and something about Rotterdam, Liverpool or Rome?

The restaraunt is so called because of its Provencal cuisine.

I presume that Quixotes is so called because it's Spanish and is on WINDMILL Hill. Daddy will explain it....... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yes, that is Enfield Chase Station by the bridge on WIndmill Hill. I used to live up Holtwhites Hill.

You see, your geography's getting better all the time!
