ricay 0 leyton 2...it happens and perhaps the writing was on the wall after saturday as leyton sneaked thru the back door.....

 

yeah it seems unfair and I'm gutted for ricay but as andy said....'we all know the rules before we start'and who said football was fair....

Not necessarily. I don't want to depress you further, but I've seen a mock up of the leagues next season which supported the theory that Heybridge, Braintree and Chelmsford would be in the Southern League!

 

Mind you, it also assumed Ricay would be in Conference South!

 

I'm just trying to remember where I saw it.......................

Was probably the another site. I imagine some Essex clubs will stay in the Ryman and some go into the Southern.

They'll certainly be a few Essex derbies next season. With Redbridge coming down and East Thurrock and possibly Maldon coming up and if Braintree and Leyton don't go up you'll be spoilt for choice.

Particularly if they re-draw the county boundaries or move Leyton and Redbridge east of Harold Hill.
