Congratulations on your win today. No sour grapes because obviously we wanted to win the trophy as much as you did but clearly there was only one outright winner today - Paul Sykes RIP.

 

Hope things improve for you next season. We have seen some hard times at Dover and around Christmas it looked like we were going under, we pulled through and I am sure you will as well, after the difficulties you have experienced your die-hard support really do deserve better.

 

You were the better team today and deserved it. Make the most of it though because we will be back...

I thought the DAFC fans were on top form today and made a really good atmosphere for the game! Thanks to everyone who made today special, regardless of result! Syko would be proud I'm sure.

Cannot complain about todays outcome, you were the better side no question although we did have chances we should have taken.

If you can hold on to no9, 10 and 5 you will not be far away next season - good luck with everything.

 

PS i'd recommend ditching the dummy in goal though, he should definately stick to cricket (having said that maybe not!!).

All round beautiful day. The Dover fans were great, enjoyed the atmosphere. You guys have the makings of a handy team there, certainly a good spirit amongst your players. Good luck for both our teams next season, and well done Dover.

 

But I have to say that I am absolutely delighted we won today, and that Rocky made the first and scored the winner!
