Nicky Beale- OK !!

Recommended Posts

I am delighted to report that Nicky, of Concord Rangers, is not so badly injured as first thought and, after , what I am sure was an unforgettable experience in Chase Farm Hospital, is nursing a badly bruised foot back at home. An ESL legend in his own life-time, Mr Beale will, I am sure be fighting fit again next season to worry some opposition or two !

Well said Squadron Leader, On entering Chase Farm A&E after examination & blood tests it was found I had an enflamed appendix, within 9 hours I had been operated on & back on a very clean ward & was given excellent treatment by all concerned for three days until I was allowed home.

Have lived in Enfield for 40+ years & never had any reason to complain about Chase Farm at all.

CF gets a lot of bad press and it is very easy to join in; but having worked there (a few yrs ago now) it was a top place with great people.

i recently had to go there and the treatment was first rate.

Apologies if my comment has upset anyone - that was not the intention - just a poor attempt at 'black humour'.

I wasn't knocking CFH in it's entirety as I know that some of the services that they provide are second-to-none (BTW - I saw the bit in this week's Gazette SL) but some of it is a complete and utter joke.... and that's from personal experience and official stats.

Hear, hear SL.

I went there for 'the snip' when I lived at Palmers Green in the late 90's.

They were very supportive!
