IMO They put certain facts through a computer and don't suppose their is much else to it, they wouldn't be familiar with whether a side plays 4 4 2 or know much about who actually plays though I suspect Billericays great home record would feature in the "garbage in". For Gazza's benefit the boffins at bet365 are unlikely to have watched any Ryman matches - not for scouting purposes anyway - stupid fools what would they know about Ryman league?. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

 

 

When Billericay go up they will have had the undoubted advantage of two home ties to do it. Eastleigh cannot dictate two home ties so become the next favourite. Braintree are unlikely to get a home tie even if they should win their first match, so their chances are worse than those for Ricay or Eastleigh. Then we have Leyton who must (if they were to achieve promotion) play both their play-offs away so they on paper have the hardest route. What has actually happened is the play-off games have been slanted in favour of the final league positions so in that respect its logical the odds they quote are also in that order.

Naturally the odds are going to be in that order, but i think the way they work out the 'distance' between the odds is probably somewhat more complex than that.
