Attendance: 379 apparently.

 

Town completely outplayed Concord in the first half, and could easily have been 2-0 up at the break, but some awful finishing ensured it was level.

 

Second half, Town took their foot off the pedal, but were still creating chances... but still not finishing them.

 

Concord player broke his ankle and was stretchered off the pitch in agony, hope he recovers soon.

 

Concord score a goal against the run of play.

 

And that was about it.

 

Oh, and then Town were presented with the League Championship trophy.

 

Hoo Roo.

Why the worry,they paid for the match so they count.

Same people just wish they had a few season ticket holders.

What can you mean? Mind you when we won there last season and they announced the crowd as 325, a quick eyeball of the terraces <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> made me think that about 100 must of worn their Harry Potter invisibility cloaks that day.

So, does this happen every week then? Are home crowds seasonally adjusted to enhance the figures. I think we should be told.

Season ticket holders are included in the attendence because they have purchased a ticket for the game (as they have with every league game). Contary to belief, nearly all turn up as well.Its only a few, maybe those couple of fans in Germany or Australia..etc that don't make it to every game.

 

Compare Towns cup attendences ,where season tickets are NOT counted and you will see the crowds remain the same.If anything cup games at home draw bigger attendences than the league.

Just thought I should add that when I said " Attendance: 379 apparently" it was because I overheard the figure in another conversation... but it looked about right so I assumed it was correct.

 

It's quite a shame though that the attendance figure was the only thing that seemed to concern some people on here, especially when a poor young lad was carried off the pitch in absolute agony.

 

Anyone know how the Concord fella is?
