I reserve the right to my opinion and to answer your comments.I meant what I said about Colin.A top class gentleman,but knowing the current situation with the Club and KPs personal position when he accepted the position of Acting Chairman he would have to face the press at some time and be the spokesman.THERE IS NO ONE ELSE!!!As far as anonyminity goes,there are very good reasons why I cannot identify myself.I am not that bothered at all who Margate Fan or Tony M are,but I can find no proper names relating to them anywhere,not that I am going to make any effort to find out.I just accept them as like myself,fans of the Club with its well being at heart,but with different opinions.So to me they are anonymous!! Last thing I have supported Margate Football Club at Hartsdown Park since 1948.always have done always will.I have contributed vast sums of money to the Club via admission, programmes,jackpot tickets any fund raising activities that are going and more recently money spent via my family for bricks,(what is going to happen to these bricks if the stadium is only temporary).I do not begrude any of this expense because I believe watching a Club like Margate offers very good value for money.I have been to most home matches and a good many away matches.So please do not call me names and talk about loyalty!!!!What I am sick to the back teeth of is (please do not say I am wrong)all the misleading promises that have come the supporters way,some made to me personaly by people in the Club.Now we have this administration thing,I maybe wrong but it seems as if the Club knew it was coming,and kept quite about it.Whether people like it or not this is exactly the sort of behaviour that is getting some peoples backs up.I will not lower myself to your levels with the name calling,but what I will say, is you do say put a name to the posting yet you are happy to call me a name and use language so bad you can only use asteriks.Go on spell it out!!!!!!!

See, this is the problem, we have one anonymous who says one thing, one anonymous who says another, how on earth does a girl to know whose nuts are in the sling?

 

I accept there are reasonable anonymouses, as well as idiot ones, but for goodness sake, DIFFERENTIATE. You do not have to log in, but call yourself something different fom some of the idiots who post on here, so we know it is not just another character assasination for the love of it. I accept you have differing views to me, but I cannot tell if you are an individual, or the same person playing games.

 

And if you had been to most of the matches this year you would know full well who I was.

It has been pretty obvious this or something worse was coming.

 

A few months ago we had the announcement of the £100K cash injection and it has presumably never been made.

 

We know that that the transfer embargo has been in place and that must be for owing money.

 

WE know that some players from last year were unpaid.

 

WE know that the club has been losing a vast amount of money. Steve Wells suggested gate money lost this year was £170K against the last year at Hartsdown.

 

We know that the club was in dire straits over a year ago when we did not know if we would fulfull our Conf fixtures.

 

I expect the usual abuse that is posted to this site for anyone who TRIES to make an intelligent comment.

Actually, I think you are absolutely right. I have been saying for months that I did not know how the club kept going, admire them as I do for having done so.

I too agree with anons post above EXCEPT to say that what is happenening now isnt as bad as it sounds. When I first heard the news at work yesterday I too thought that the situation was dire but on reading through the details can now see that this isnt as bad as first thought.

p.s. Dont fear anon its not only anon posts that get flack from us named people but some of us get the same from annon posts too.
