do players in this league get paid, if so how much

I would say half the teams get 'expenses' probably ranging from £5-£20 a week,the rest get nothing.

 

Of course there have been rumours that ETFC pay better 'expenses' that some others.

Although I must admit the bar staff at Burnham are okay compared to many in our league. Barmaid at Concord said she was not allowed to sell me a bottle of wine. Now what is that all about? Probably didn't have the brains to work out the price. The miserable git at Aveley (London APSA) seems to think that having a face like a crumpled five pound note and being totally obnoxious to customers is a way to win hearts and minds.

Basildon is okay though, nice wine plus staff who do have a clue. Southend Manor...ah the lovely, cuddly Chrissy..What a pair of !!! (she is the wife's mate).

Stansted makes me feel like I am the new Dr Who. It's like going back to the land before time. Even the pub next door this season shut at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon.
