No consideration of fans

The Cup Final is advertised at 7.45pm k.o. and then it kicks off at 7.30, why? No consideration is given to the fans who pay their mone <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />y. How many people missed 15/20 minuters of the final because the suits got it wrong.

 

Also, why weren`t the teams introduced before the game. We should have had the chance to applaud the two teams before the k.o.

 

You`d think that the RL would know how to run a cup final. I`ve seen Cub Scouts do a better job!

the teams were introduced, happened about two minutes before the teams came out.

Yes, Steve Parson read out the teams. Happens at every game doesn`t it?

 

Its a cup final though, should get a bit more than the norm, teams come out, line up, introduced to some official or other. Supporters get to cheer the teams, heckle the ref etc. Pre-game ceremnoy adds a bit of class to the game.

Les if you say some fans would have missed 15 to 20 mins of the game and the game started 15 mins early, that means that those who missed 20 mins would have missed 5 mins if the game kicked of at 7:45 - get there with time in hand and then its not a problem - stop moaning!

 

Staines is not Wembly or Cardiff and as you say it is a micky mouse cup which H&R now dont care about - whats your problem?

Agreed though the organisation was poor, No NUS discount crap programme, Loudspeaker awful and no-one knew the CORRECT kick off time!
