Replacement bus from Newbury Park to Barkingside - one stop. Could be worse.

I vaguely remember Barkingside tube station being walking distance from Newbury Park via The Dick Turpin but I don't remember much else. I couldn't even remember my way back to Newbury Park which is how I found out you could get to Barkingside from the pub in the first place. This was in the early 1980s. Ah, happy days!

 

Actually, looking on the map I wonder why I bothered. Not the sort of walk I'd want to do these days.
