Next weeks "Youth" charity game

Recommended Posts

Just a reminder to those who have expressed an interest....and those who didn't hear "Whispering Fred" on Saturday.

Next Tuesday St Albans City Youth have a charity game at Clarence Park in aid of the Neurotrauma Educational Fund. This is an annual event and is always played at under 12's with a different cause being chosen to benefit each year. This year following Jakes recent injury this seemed a good choice and up to now there has been a tremendous response from people at the club and local business.

The game starts at 7.30 and it only costs £2 to get in so please come and support this cause if you can.

To those who still ask about Jake he is well and is back in training, obviously for next season, but did take part in a short game yesterday (at Leeds University) for the first time since the injury. Managed to come through without needing to head the ball but still managed to score 5 goals apparently. Should do though against dole scrounging unwashed students ... talking of which ...

GHA if you are around and able to come to the game quite a few of the old school team and midweek youth team are attending, Iaian Turkentine, Allister Collins, Matt Jones, Lawrence Anscomb, Ollie Lutton and a few more... so if youre around pop in to see us.

Once agian thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts and generousity.
