did anyone else just see the small section on the local news about slough?

for those who didnt they have done a competition to write a new poem to describe slough, instead of the miserable one written 70 years ago.

 

one of the verses contained a little bit about something quite close to us all:

"its true slough town don't always win,

but losing is taken on the chin"

or words similar to that
