little dissapointed that Kassim didn't start the match last night - first time that i've seen him and he looked very quick - I'll have to reserve judgement on the other aspects of his game but as he's been bench warming for the first team for most of the season it seemed the ideal opportunity to start a game, especially as Carbon seemed to pick up an injury which I hope doesn't keep him out of the final.

Have to agree that I was surprised and slightly disappointed that he did not start. He seemed fairly lively. He is remarkably similar to Josisas in the way he plays the game and I suppose in a straight choice between the two you would always opt for JC given his experience and proven quality. Also have to bear in mind the Josias and Saulsbury are the only players to have featured in every game this season.

Although he was on for a short amount of time, he did seem to have promise, and his speed is something that would prove useful.

 

On another note I thought Lovegrove did especially well last night making his first team debut.

Lovegrove did look good. Quick and an excellent passer of the ball (well certainly in the better conditions in the first half). Only down side is that he is a bit short.
