Dear All,

 

Please be advised that Deputy Operations Director Londonlines will be carrying out unannounced visits to the Service Delivery Centre’s across Londonlines, Bletchley and Upminster have already received theirs which was at 06:30-07:00hrs.

 

Please make sure that the following points below are addressed and applied:

 

All Work Stations (Desk Tops) to be kept clear of rubbish, newspapers, magazines and clutter, there will obviously still be a need for all relevant documents to be on display. Not so much me

 

Smart Attire: All SDC staff working in the Metro SDC between the hours of 07:00-2300hrs will be expected to be smart wearing trousers; shirt & ties, and shoes, female members of staff will be expected to wear the applicable smart clothing. This excludes staff that are rostered to work nights who can wear casual clothing. Aimed at me as I'm always pretty scruffy and my blue, orange and yellow hair didin't go down too well

 

Television/Radio: The television must be on silent and display the BBC Travel Page, this should not be used as a radio system. If the Television or radio is live in the background this interferes with the voice tape recordings, and can be heard during your conversation, it is absolutely essential that this is not allowed to happen! I've always got the TV on, but always mute it when the phone rings

 

Staff who are rostered to be on duty should always be in position unless relieved or special dispensation given by me or the Business Controller, we should not be in the position where one of the desks is left uncovered. That's him saying I know that you come in at 10am and let the other person fk off at 4pm on Sundays and that you piss off home at 11pm on Saturday nighshift

 

PC’s: There must be no misuse of PC’s with “silly” wallpapers plastered all over the background and internet usage should be kept to a minimum. That'll be the Girls Aloud picture he saw yesterday, today funny enough I can't put any wallpaper on. I should imagine my internet useage is the most in the company, it's this boards fault

Funny enough I've worked out how to stream Radio 6 today so that's the internet on all day and the radio also on, but that wasn't why I'm here, they are playing the fantastic "I am the mob" by Catatonia obviously oblivious to the f word in the middle of it. 11am swearing Top of The Pops!!!
