Controversal? Depends where you were looking from.........someone said, "The ref must have had Green and White on" I said funny that every time we win someone says that, only 6 times it aint been said........nothing to do with losing was it? That banter aside Stansted played some good football tonight especially in the second half. they could mature into a good side if they keep going.

we were awful is the short of it!

but credit to stansted.

im fed up of ref complaints now they are getting boring. yes the refs make mistakes but the are not cheats they make honest mistakes, some go against us and some go for us.

Seemed the Ref completely changed in the Second half, wouldn't book anyone in the first & then got card happy in the second, he must have had too much coffee at half-time!.
Thought you boys were really comfortable winners though.

i agree but i do think that in general the better refs move up the pyramid. i know there is a shortage of refs and i can see why. i would not do it. although i have asked the league chairman if i can be player/ref on monday!

It doesn't matter what the league is, it seems that Ref's can never do right, just look at the post match interviews on Sky!.
Have you got any idea who the minutes silence was before last night?.

last night's referee, wasn't that bad and was certainly a lot better than the previous two refs we had against Eton Manor and Barkingside who were woeful, it is an impossible job trying to keep 22 players, management and fans happy, even at premiership level, without em we dont have a game, as pinn said, they dont i believe go out and have a shocker on purpose. its the same with players they have good and bad games.

Yes... sort of!

I asked the ref last night as I had not been advised of anything. Apparently it was at the request of the Stansted captain (?) for "a relative who had been stabbed". No other details were forth-coming.
