There's a lump in my throat and, somehow, a gentle breeze in the office must have caught my eye causing a tear to form.

 

There is no good news but it is re-assuring to know that Buzz Lightyear will remain to continue the traditions set by Mark. Huge.

 

That said, I was hoping for something a little more profound for Mark's final post. Something about the Coggeshall Girls Under 10s, perhaps. But no. A quiet farewell. Dignified, somehow.

 

I can't wait to see where Mark starts his new forum. I bet that he will still look on here, mind. Something will turn up. On past performance, we wont have heard the last of Braintree Town F.C. I wonder who the next manager will be. The appointments of Roberts and George Borg certainly had their moments.

If he had been DIGNIFIED in the past, this would not be happening!

As i have stated several times in the past, i never wanted(and still don't,) Mark to resign, just grow up and stop being Paranoid.

If he thinks he is becoming a Martyr, his next post will be on St. Albans Forum!

I don't think that martyrdom comes into it, AmericanFleetFan. And you should stop blaming yourself, old chap. It's up to Mark. He has decided to furl his flag and hoist it somewhere else.

 

We should wait for Mark to re-appear on another forum some place else and we can chat to him there. Look on it as a new beginning rather than an end. It may help to assuage the pain.

 

And by the way. Its CITY.

Its probably the anger that causes the stress, resulting in the feelings of guilt.

Look back at your post from 12.45. Four question marks, three exclaimation marks. Clear signs of suppressed anger. Then look at your post from 1.17. Now you feel calm. That's saved you a few err.. errr... bucks[?]

 

What we now have to do is sort out young Flag. Could be a little trickier. A very complex character, indeed. Delusional as well as in denial. He clearly thinks that it all matters. All that and the stress of Buzz Lightyear.
