Anyone know when the next season begins? Always good to plan in advance. I presume the start dates will be the same whichever league were in.

Speaking of leagues, going on these rumours of Essex teams being shipped to the Southern League, is there any danger of that happening to us if we dont go up?

 

Also, heres the FA Cup dates for next season, nabbed from the Braintree forum. Always good to look forward to the fun and games of a possible cup run.

 

Extra Preliminary Round 24th August 2005

Preliminary Round 31st August 2005

First Round Qualifying 10th September 2005

Second Round Qualifying 24th September 2005

Third Round Qualifying 8th October 2005

Fourth Round Qualifying 22nd October 2005

First Round Proper 5th November 2005

 

Had a browse round the FA site, but cant find any FA Trophy dates.

 

Also, save me starting another thread: Simon, where did you find the information on the website about Paul Armstrong. Thanks.

According to the Ryman bulletin the FA Trophy starts on the 15th October. Think the rounds are every 3 weeks thereafter.

The Isthmians league starts at 20th of august, guess that's the same with conference?

With the Coca Cola Leagues supposedly starting on 6th Aug, then Premier League and Non-League Football would start on the 13th, as it generally starts a week later, plus it started on the 14th this season.

the 2005/06 seson starts on the 20th of august with more midweek matches apparently! heres a quote from the site www.isthmian.co.uk

 

2005-2006 Season

The new season will commence on Saturday 20th August 2005. The Board opted for a later start and the use of more midweek games in an effort to assist clubs who pay weekly wages to their players.
