I see the team that both me and Zeal have a "soft spot" for were relegated from the football league on Saturday.

Of course I saw them back in 1993 pre-liberation when they beat Championship (nee Division 1, nee Divison 2) side Luton Town, while a League One (nee Division 2, nee Divison 3) side in the coca-cola cup 1-0 at the Abbey Stadium with Weymouths bankrupter Steve Claridge scoring the winner.

What's you favorite memory of the now-doomed Cambridge Zeal?

 

Sad to think that they were in the play off's for promotion to the premiership not too many years ago.

Nice derby for Cambridge City though next season!
