Morning after the day before....

You may remember that I was the only one to predict a win for ETFC yesterday! I may have got the score wrong, but I did manage to predict the difference between the two sides.

 

Let's look at the game - Two top sides with 361 people all waiting to see a titanic struggle. Didn't turn out to be one though. It was Town who flew out of the blocks and took the game to Burnham Ramblers who, although they tried to get back into the game, rarely made Andy make a save throughout the whole 90 minutes.

 

4 4 2 formation really showed yesterday what ETFC can do with Lee and Dean running at their defence. Shame Mr Pratt spoilt a tremendous move by not allowing advantage so early on in the game. It wasn't going to be the first time he stopped ETFC when they were in full flow!

 

Dean Green - apparantly the Burnham number 14 was still in his pocket in the bar. What an effective use of a class player.

 

What about the defence - still only conceded the fewest goals in the league and no doubt Jim will tell us all how good they are with his stats.

 

We have got to feel sorry for Rudi for being sent off for 'such a picky' offence by someone who seemed to want to be the centre of attention. Mind you, Rudi had done all the damage by then with an excellent performance.

 

Can't sing the praise of everyone as it's off to Brimmo to carry on with the ground works. However, brilliant performance from all; players, backroom staff, super physio and the fans who travelled all the way to the ground to be greeted by some honest and nice people who went out of their way to make our visit worthwhile.

 

What a fitting game to end the season next Saturday:

 

Newly crowned champions 2004 - 2005 against Concord Rangers(2003 - 2004)

 

Brimmo at 3.00pm on Saturday 30 April. Make sure you are there with family and friends.

I've got a headache as that Johnny wallace didn't stop singing all the way home. It was a relief that he got out for a jimmy on the a127 IN FULL VIEW OF EVERY PASSING MOTORIST He even decided to wave at some body who tooted at him , I shrank down in my drivers seat hoping no body from the town would recognise me .
