Hampton 0 Billericay 3

For me this was our best performance of the season in the league (even beating the two 6-0 games) against a team lying fourth who had only lost once at home all season we were totally dominant.

We played 4-3-3 with Cuss joining Nathan and Paul up front and it worked from the start with Cuss firing over in the first minute from close range. Goals from Nathan (a through ball from Leon similar to the goal against Chelmsford) and a header towards the end. Matt scored after a quick free kick caught the defence out.

Hampton were restricted to breakaways and at no time in the game did they have any concerted pressure.

Well done lads and for those who could not be bothered to go you missed a treat (it was still Hampton's highest league attendance of the season).

Difficult to pick out individuals as the whole team played well but Trotty had an excellent game at the back.

Fine all round performance. With Dorms and Gallagher missing out through injury I will admit to being a little worried, but the boys all did well and throughly deserved he win.

With the 4-3-3 formation the important thing was that both full-backs got well to give us the width, which both did very well. Nathan "brace" Elder got another brace taking his tally to 17 for the season...from 18 starts.

Excellent performance on a very bumpy pitchy, fine displays right through from 1-11. Hampton were surprisingly poor for a team in 4th, though our quality prob made them look that way. Very tempted to say "let's hope we play them again in the play-off" - but I won't as that's tempting fate! Enjoyed the relaxed family-friendly off-field atmosphere at the Beveree too, nice club.

I come back from Hemel and find only four posts praising the team!!! Poor lads, very poor. The teams performance deserves more than that!!!

The lads did us proud and Matty Game deserves player of the match for his performance. That isn't taking anything away from any of the other players, 'cos they all played a blinder!!!

Well done and we'll see Yeading in the Nationwide and stick it to them as well as every other team!!!
