Really thought we we doomed when they went 1-0 up but we got a rather lucky own goal to keep us up.

 

Great keeper for Cheshunt. A good laugh and shook hands with us lot behind the goal afterwards. Hope they stay up as he was a great laugh!

 

What was it the Express said about Scotty? Give up now? He came on and caused enough trouble to get the defenders to panic and score an own goal...Thank god they give that paper away...i certainly will not be buying it again!

 

In other news...Maidenhead lost 3-0 infront of 600 people after doing another promotion in the local paper....Malc TELL the club to do something like this...it clearly works. FRONT page not back page!

Woody, there are plans for this but it is all about finding the right ratio of kids to adults.

There are a couple of schemes we are looking at but we want to make sure that we have planned it properley so that not only are we getting more people through the gates but not losing a lot of money at the same time.

I am sure that whatever the club choose to do it will benefit the club.

well seeing as it was grays not many i bet...

 

And they got over 500 for Lewes aswell

In the last 2 weeks Maidenhead has had 1,100 people through the gate. Lewes only btought about 40 as did Grays. The club increased its money taken on the gate substancially. The whole promotion was unwritten by the clubs new sponsors Pharmalink Consulting. They are also paying for the supporters coaches that travel to Newport next week.

Heard one of them from you i think about the new ballboys. That sounds good and lets hope they are better than that old ballboy...what's his name...You know...the shouty annoying one...yeah ol'metal leg!

How about you pitch this one to the powers that be...hand out leaflets at local schools/kids football clubs/youth clubs/pubs/in windsor town center. I'm sure you can find enough people to help. I'd be first on the list to help
