Todays Game

I thought Gravesend and Northfleet played horribly today. They really need to sort out their strikers. Surey played the worst, but then I'm biased because I've never liked him. Burton Albion wern't too great either but still managed to score a couple of goals!

I was quite impressed by Deane today, he played the best in my opinion.

Ah yes....but if the guy hadn't bought £20 worth then FFan wouldn't have won so much......geddit ?

I am not one to moan...but it weren't all that great today was it ?

Something to mull over during the summer & watch comings & goings with interest !

Cheers,

Liam signed Sigere...Sigere plays crap (again)...Essandoh on the bench...Liam does not bring him on (same as last Saturday against Stevenage).

Possiblitities:

1)Roy is injured.

2)Liam would admit a signing made by him is crap by subbing him for Roy

3)Roy and Liam have fallen out.

Discuss…

Yeah, Deane was pretty good.

I'm quite glad we finished 14th though, not that it matters much.

I bought some old programmes today...Hannah is that you in the Tamworth programme?

yes, it was my birthday so my parents decided to show me up by putting a picture of me when I was 8 years old which was when I was a right porky minger. And the dodgy message next to it! They thought it would be funny. I had never been so embarrased! worst thing ever!

some guy in the main stand brought £20 worth of tickets and still lost. HAHA

The idea of the 50/50 draw is to raise money for the club, so before you laugh at somebody helping the club you might consider that without such people the club wouldn't be able to afford to let freeloaders in for nothing. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

That's being polite!! If Mr Daish does his job properly he's in for a busy summer. I would only keep the following: Saunders, Porter, Drury, Skinner and Jackson. If we're to have a decent team to watch next season, then he must supplement those with proven Conference ability. Let's hope the offer of full time football can get those players in

I thought we were well on top in the 1st half & couldn't believe it when the ref waved away the penalty appeal after Drury went down in the box. Burton looked out of it completely - almost as bad as Tamworth.

Credit to Mr Clough, though, he spotted where we could be hurt & the 2nd half was a completely different game, with Ducross totally controlling the game for Burton. Once Lee went off, we'd had it.

Let's see what happens during the summer.

PS As usual I bought a 50/50 ticket. Still no answer from Mikefleet on this one. Wonder if he contributed to the Paul Sykes collection. Anyone know how much was raised?
