Andrew - What makes you think his name is Owen ? If so is it Owen Dawson right back for Swindon Town from 1962 - 1971, but not in League Cup final team ? This is getting interesting. Love following this from Cheltenham. Will be at both Staines and Worthing. Lets win them, and unmask this waffling ejit.

well what can i tell you, your barking up the wrong tree-its not i.
talking about comments-has anyone noticed that since we got steve daley, its been a downward spiral.so he's not as good as you all seem to think!!!

So you claim not to be Owen and if you are telling the truth, then the only other player who was unlucky not to be a member of the League Cup team was Chris Jones, since Dangerfield and Blick hardly go a game that season.

In which case your career started high and went slowly down the divisions over the years, Manchester City, SWINDON TOWN, Oldham Athletic (loan), Walsall, York City, Huddersfield Town, Doncaster Rovers, Darlington (loan), Rochdale, Le Havre, Frickley Athletic.

I can see why you would be an expert, because they were probably saying the same about you as you are saying about poor old Steve!

I think I could run a bit faster than him though-probably still can.

I seem to remember way back then-such names as Delaney,Mead,D'Arcy and more recently Hercules and Angus-poor old steve not in their class I'm afraid.

More obfuscation? Why am I not surprised? Run faster than who, Steve or Jones? You were never a member of the Swindon League cup squad were you, or so marginal you did not even make the team list......?
