Nice to see you're advocating continuity at the club. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Mike please. You can't go around using language like that and then tell people to grow up. Your clearly a little hot under the coller, go and have a cold shower.

Swearing is the first sign of losing an argument, name calling is another. If FF calls you a name so what just proves your winning.

If you want to use language like that then I suggest you find out who he is and say it to his face.

Probably because he doesn't like you Mike. Either ignor him or offer some sort of decent return for his argument.

You can't go around talking to people like that if you want to work on the programme. If you keep slagging people off for no good reason then people won't by it and the only people coming off for the worse will be the club.

Oh look at this Harry J Allstars offering life skills. Whatever next? FF sticking up for Blair?

Pure comedy. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Nothing to do with whether I like him or not.
And no I didn't start it (oh please - how childish is that phrase?)

You asked what was wrong with the programme & then don't like the honest replies?

You give people one impression (that you are involved in the programme) and when it goes wrong (i.e. people make criticisms) you deny being involved quite as much as you previously indicated?

It's all very well trying to take credit for the good but you can't deflect blame on to others when the bad crops up.
Then again, it's not the first time we've had this, is it?

So more honesty and less self-publicity mikefleet would stop you getting into these situations.

I note that there has been no response from Mikefleet to my post of the 22nd April regarding the problems with our current programme. Could he confirm that he has indeed refered my comments to whoever presently "edits" the programme. Reply awaited.

Although the end of season run in was disappointing (especially the lack of goals scored), the club has achieved something which they had not done before, namely the right to a 4th season in the Conference. Those supporters who recall relegation after our 3rd season in the APL will remember the heartache of our season when we were relegated on the final day . To finish 14th for a wholly part time side is a worthy achievement, albeit that with several factors working in our favour we could have finished even higher. Although it could be argued that the club were in a rut when Andy resigned, as we have seen elsewhere on this Forum, we were never really at risk of relegation and his stewardship was essentially sound. While we will never know how Andy would have done had he stayed, in all probability we would have finished in about the same position as achieved by his successor. It is therefore unfortunate that the prevailing mood of the majority of the fans posting messages is one of pessimism ( which I tend to share ) about next season. It is to be hoped that this does not in fact ( as suggested to me ) materialise as realism. The summer retained list and signings will hopefully give us all reason for optimism so that we can all approach the new season with renewed optimism and without the associated baggage of this campaign.

I would also like to remind everybody that despite even a director of the club claiming in a recent programme that our 11th spot in 2003/2004 was our highest ever position (yet another factual error), that we did actually finish 5th in our first APL season. This is the target that we should now try and aim to better.

My final personal wish for the next season includes the hope that I will at long last be allocated a new and operational user name and password so that I will no longer have to post as Anon. We don't all chose to be anonymous posters hence I have always added my original user name to the end of my messages.

A happy summer to all our contributors. kmj.
