And there's no way you are a Slough FAN, if you were, instead of putting the boot in on the players, you would have no problem in telling us what are you doing to help the club in its present situation... Have you sponsored the walkers for starters? If you can afford £100 if you are found out, you can certainly afford a sponsorship.

Now we're getting somewhere..... The 1969 League cup final team was:

Downsborough, Thomas, Trollope, Butler,
Burrows, Harland, Heath, Smart, Smith (Penman), Noble, Rogers.

Which one are you? Are you sure that you are not mixing your STFC's up? If you played in that team, how come you were "watching" Slough vs Skelmersdale in 1969 - I would have thought you had other things on your mind and were elsewhere.....smells a bit fishy!

So Swindon beat Arsenal in the League Cup Final in 68/69. In that year Swindon managed only second place in the old division 3 whereas Arsenal finished 4th in Division 1. The following season Swindon managed just 5th place in division 2.

 

How on earth can a team that beat the mighty Arsenal only finish 5th in division 2?? Surely if they can beat Arsenal they should be able to do better than that? What a bunch of "non-triers".

Not sure why I am bothering to justify myself-oh I remember now I'm bored-but if you check your facts you will find that a certain player was injured for the final few weeks of the season,and if you further delve into the internet-you will see that when Slough played Skem, our game was called off-and the £200 I have offered-i will bring to saturdays game-so the Staines geezer can point me out-can't say fairer than that.

So you did not play in the final because of injury? That might explain why you are so bitter. But the team without you managed to beat the mighty Arsenal yet with you in the side they could only muster fifth in Division 2? You can't have been trying.

 

And given your comments in recent times the majority of us are of the view that you don't attend matches so your £200 is looking pretty safe.

Opti you once managed to post about how crap we were at a game twenty minutes after it ended (albeit without your usual Opti name tag). No problem. Except it was away at Heybridge. Now you either have a laptop with wireless technology or your a liar. Place your bets people.

You have every reason to justify yourself, given your comments about some honest lads playing for Slough. And we've been bored ever since you started posting your acid. Don't worry, we are on your case.......... just don't OD before Saturday.

But at least if you are unmasked, you have no reason any more not to register as we will all know who you are!!!
