So... Arsene Wenger finally admitted after last night's match with Chelsea that the league was out of their reach and it was all over.

Fking slow on the up-take, Arsene love. Most of us realised that three months ago!!

P.S. Presumable a draw on Monday will make it mathematically impossible? That would be something to look forward to, especially after they "won the league at WHL" last season with their 2-2 draw!!

I've just worked it out!

If Chelsea beat Fulham at the weekend, they go 14 points clear.

Which means if Woolwich fail to get three points on Monday against the Spurs, they cannot mathematically win!

What a difference a years makes!

Funniest thing - I just pointed this out to my arrogant Gooner boss - he says that it wouldn't count as Chelsea had pretty much won it weeks ago so Spurs couldn't claim to have stopped Arsenal winning the league!

Errr... like Arsenal had the league pretty much sewn up long before they went to White Hart Lane last season, then!?

Not sure why I'm talking about this anyway, actually - the way we played last night, I reckon Woolwich will turn us over about 4-0 on Monday.

It could be that to get into Europe, you have to beat Rovers in the last game of the season. Should be a good game. Rovers are on the up and we are currently 2 places above Newcastle ("Souness - what's the score?"). If we finish above the barcodes I'd be well chuffed. BTW, did you see the goal that Safri scored against N'Castle last night? It was a belter, 45 yards out - lovely!!

We're already celebrating.

Love to see French footy managers crying.

Saw that Safri goal. Unbelievable. Ashton's header was also quality.

Saw the Spurs match as well Zeal. Mido looks a real handful. Turned the game when he came on.

It could be argued that Chelsea have won the league, rather than Arsenal losing it.

Conversely it could be said that Spurs 'lost' the league at St. Mary's Stadium, after a 1-0 loss, way back on the 5th of March, when it became mathematically impossible for them to win it.
