text updates

I find it hard to check this website or gnfc.co.uk during the daytime because I cannot always access the internet. Do they club run a text message service where news updates get sent as text messages to my mobile phone? If so then can somebody post the details up on this forum please?

St Albans provide a news via text message service. Five messages for £1.50 or something like that. I'd be more than willing to contribute £1.50 every couple of days or so. shame

Just how much info could you fit in one text messsage though?

 

Not a bad idea if it's a message to say that there is a new item of importance on the website newspage.....
