A few players to impress me this season... and I ain't easily impressed...

Best goalkeeping performances against us: Delroy Preddie in the away game at Yeading. Proved the difference with 5 or 6 top class saves to keep the score at 2-1, as McArtney had a mare. Kevin Saywer in the home game with Salisbury. Good stopper and excellent coming off his line.

Defenders: Has to be said it's the bad ones that stick out... But Flanagan looked very solid for Folkestone (only Salisbury and Folkestone have kept 2 clean sheets against us this season.). Actually thought the Slough right back (Carbon) did ok on Saturday, got forward very well.

Midfielders: Can't remember his name, but Staines had a good player in there, won a lot of ball and kept possession well. Also impressed with their winger Clement James, who gave Macca a very tough game. Dwayne Edwards of Heybridge looked useful on the opening day, another winger. Andy Morley of Hampton looked good in the game before Christmas.

Forwards: Leon Archer of Cheshunt ran us ragged at their place, seriously quick. Now at Boreham Wood I believe. We've generally had more problems against forwards that run with the ball at pace at us, adn Revell of Braintree did that very well at their place. Marvin Morgan of Wealdstone gave us a bit of a battering at Wealdstone early on in the season, but couldn't shoot for toffee which is a bit of a problem for a striker!
