Worrying if true

This is on the front page of confguide:

Northwich Victoria and Gravasend & Northfleet have been given deadlines to get their grounds ready - failure may result in a reprieve for a relegated club.

Northwich Victoria have until 14 days before the June AGM to satisfy the Conference that the new Victoria Stadium will be ready for use.

Gravesend and Northfleet have until 7 days before the AGM to have the work done on their terrace - work that's required in order to bring Stonebridge Road up to the 4000 minimum capacity.

Failure of either club could mean relegation, and a reprieve for one or more of the bottom three. Forest Green Rovers, in 20th, would be the first to benefit.

When's the AGM?

I really don't want us to get relegated on something like this.

If you go down for playing crap football that's one thing but this would be dreadful.

I notice Northwich only have to 'satisfy' the Conference, we have to have 'work done'. The first bit, satusfying the Conference, would seem to be easy as it's being carried out in the close season, but if they're imposing a deadline to have it finished, that is more worrying.

That is what we were told by either/or Dave H or Chris Baker. While worrying, if we recall all the extensions that Margate had surely we can negotiate some extra time. Is it in fact the terrace which is a very new problem and is unlikely to be the source of an ultimatum, or the stand ie seating provision, which we will have to expand at some date? Any official news would help! kmj.

What £75,000+ for the terrace repairs in one sum? You are joking aren't you? This is more than our total rolling sponsorship deal! We cannot rely on Mr G for this money. kmj.

It won't cost the Club a penny will it? Thought the Club had applied to the Football Trust to cover the cost of the works or is this not the case?

I don't know if its any longer the case but weren't Conference teams entitled up to £400,000 for Ground improvements at one time.

And we all know how long these bodies take to come up with a decision. Can't see the grant coming through before the work needs to be completed. Hope somebody from the club can give us supporters some info ASAP

Nice of the conference to let us know now then eh? Surely they should have told us something like this when it was actually closed? the way the conference is run is a joke, it seems the 'big' teams can do what they want(Exeter escaping -10 points, poor northwich -10). I'm sure they are more examples of things like this.
