Alex - Oldham

So Alex Charalambous is to go to OLDHAM on a months trial. Wish him all the best but I cant help wondering if he would be up to the task of playing in that league. Still sometimes players respond to different people and different training /environments. Could it be that someone has seen something that we havent thus far. Yes, he has been playing out of position with us and not showing his full strengths but from what I have seen he really isnt up to football league standard. Wish him the very best however with his trial. He has done a lot to help us this term and he does put himself around but I think he lacks the skill for higher leagues.

Even so as an example Sam Sodje was a fine player with us but it has surprised me that his rise into the football league has improved his play and temperament even more. You never know!

no surprise to me that sam has made it i was very surprised how long we had his services for

sam was always a top player we all knew he was destind for better things, but alex? im sure its a april fools just a bit late.

Never seen Alex play, but can he be any worse than our(DAFC) ex player Junior Lewis, who made into the premiership with Leicester? I remember a disgruntled Leicester fan on 606 describe him as "the worst player ever to have played in the premiership"

I do not think we have seen the best of either Alexis or Peter B this season because neither has had any sort of run in there proper positions.playing at full back is a specialist job,you either have that mind set or you do'nt. I say fair play to the lad he must have a heart as big as any to put up with some of the comments i have heard made in ear his hot. According to the paper it won't effect his availability for the gates last games, i hope like Terry Mcflynn before him a little full time training and coaching helps both of us.
