You claim to be a Slough Fan, so prove it. It is not about how long your memory is (and I am sure that there are people with memories longer and better than yours) - it is about supporting your club. If you are a Slough Fan what are you doing to help the club through this difficult time - have you sponsored the walkers, for example? Why do you take every opportunity to belittle people who are trying to do something and knock the club every time you come on here. These are not mind numbingly difficult questions, with your memory you ought to have the dates off pat and the sponsorship of the walk has been going for a couple of months - hardly memory man stuff.

So it's put up or shut up time, let's have some answers.

Hew Woody, we have had a debate about anons posting and views are split. Some say they make good points. But Optimistic claims to be a former professional player who is a Slough Fan,with a serious point of view - so let him prove it. If he fails to do so by answering the questions, then I will be the first to say he is a windbag and worthy of no further consideration - but I don't think letting him off the hook serves any purpose. Put up or shut - if he doesn't put up then we know he's a fraud and we can happily ignore him.

Besides, why should he have all the fun?

Opti, I am not sure why I bother talking to you.

 

The clear implication of your statement was that you know about football because you have been watching Slough since 1969 and therefore know better than us youngsters. The fact that you are unable to build a coherent arguement or make your views clear is hardly my fault. Equally it is not my fault that you are unable to answer perfectly straightforward and clear questions put by other posters such as Matt and Andrew. Because of your frustration you resort to name calling. I pity you.
