can someone tell me how we can lose 6-0 at home-yet draw with the champions elect away from home.
OR SHALL I TELL YOU!!!!

Look, Optimistic, if you really want to make a serious contribution to the debate about Slough Town, and give us the benefit of your vast experience as a player at Swindon Town, Swindon Supermarine or Swindon Robins Under eleven's (The unbeatable team of Coronation Year), then why don't you do several simple things:

1. Register, then it will give what you say some credibility as a person who is willing to commit to their opinions.

2. Realise that a number of people come on here and just abuse people who disagree with them, don't gain any respect for their views - produce some better argument, for heaven's sake!

3. Learn to contribute in English if you want people to read what you say, many of us can't be bothered to try and decipher all this texting talk, however clever you may think it.

4. Make some positive contribution rather than the continual knocking of a team who may drive us nuts at times, amply demonstrated by getting thrashed by Billericay and then nearly beating Yeading, but who generally are performing at a level (four games a week, and look at the total number of games they have played this year),at or beyond what might be reasonably expected for part timers.

5. If you feel you want to voice a view, then try to understand and show a little empathy for a team and its supporters who are in a position they really do not want to be - no ground, an uncertain financial future, little money to throw around but with tremendous support at the core, and a season that a lot of teams in this league would have been happy to have, even with all its failures.

Do these and we can listen to your views with respect, but carry on as you are and I suggest that we all boycott any further polemics from you.

So do go away and reflect on this.........

But kind sirs,we have had all this out before,if I register my name, but kept the same opinions, you would still protest, because of the blinkered views you have.I AM ONLY TELLING IT AS IT IS.How you can condone a team who loses 6-0 at home, then goes away and draws with the top team in the league, and then tell me they were trying in the 6-0 defeat-I THINK NOT- I was there I think i know the difference between triers and non-triers, and those that can play and those that can't.
I used a form of "text speak" only because I understand that I AM TALKING TO YOUNGSTERS WHO REALLY HAVE NO PEDIGREE IN THE GAME.
And yes you were right SWINDON TOWN F.C.
Finally do you mean " go away and reflect" or would it not be better to "genuflect" and get god on our side ?????????

As you may have gathered with my ramblings that I know everything about football and that my opinions are the only ones that count!

Back in 1908 when I played at Swindon Town FC I was the only one to score all the goals and I set them all up, and when I was not doing that I was back defending and keeping goal.

In that same year, I was managing Swindon and got the call up to play for and manage the England team and I won the Home Nations, European and World Cups!

After that I became Prime Minister and won the First world war with only a rusty penknife.

As you can see my modisty does not let me talk about all my achievements, but you young wipper snappers should take note of my words of wisdom.

I think we should run an on-line poll for some end of season awards. Some categories:

Most ironically titled poster

Poster with worst concept of the definition of the word "supporter"

Can't think who would win though.

Thought I would give you an update on my activities.

I was considering standing for Pope but decided that as I had seen every country in the world when I was secretary general of the UN there would be no point.

The other thing that put me off was having to work on a Sunday - this goes against my objective of being like my mentor Paul who manages to not work but put all the wrongs of Slough right.

Paul has shown me it is not just flagging up others shortcommings that matters, it is then telling them how to put things right, but then avoiding doing any of the work himself.

I feel that with all my experiance and the backing of Paul that I should take over the running of the Club, Slough Council, and all the companies in Slough.

I must sign off now as my friends in the white coats are comming to take me for my medication.
