1 nil to a strong redbridge 11.

the goal coming on 49 mins.michael ayrshire went close for hornchurch.so did the inpressive danny gill.but this was a good work out for the young ens.

2 good things come out of the game the 1st half display by danny gill and another 45 mins for billy drake.not a great game both sides canceled each other out and redbridge just deserved there victory

Billy - can you let us know the line up please?

I thought Dean Dear was very impressive, likewise Danny Gill.

I also thought that the Redbridge team were better than their first team that played Newport last week.

I was a bit surprised that Max announced the crowd as 603 - I thought it was not more than 500 though a lot came in without paying for the second half.

That's a superb crowd for a youth team friendly.

>>>I Didn't Think We Charged Admission Prices For Youth Team Games

I managed to sneak in without paying yesterday.

The massive crowd was due to rumours that Mark Bosnich was likely to be playing in goal.

However, after a recount, I now believe the crowd to have been just over one hundred.

Well we have to now UB under new legislation, something to do with the licence for giving entertainment but I do think the paying public got good value for their £8.00 plus progi of course.

Oh and there was always the fact that they didn't have to pay for the burgers last night.
