i can only think of a few places that is good to play on. romford, barkingside at beginning of season but was disgustin pitch few weeks ago, towns pitch was not good beginning of season but looks in great shape at moment and watham abbeys pitch saturday was no disgrace although was in bad shape at xmas time.

with regards to facilities changing rooms at barkingside are up there and the showers at tilbury(eton manor) were a "right touch".

basildon, hullbridge, southendmanor, sawbo, stansted, concord, bowers are not pleasant! havent been to bowers yet tho so basing it on last season.changing rooms at southen manor are nice and big but thats as good as it gets.

sorry to seem bias but i genuinely believe burnham is the best ground in the league.

I like Burnham's ground, though having all the facilities upstairs must be a real pain for the disabled or anyone not very good on their legs!.
Being from the Abbey I obviously like their ground & it's been good to see it develop over the last few years.
We've got a good Stadium at Brimmo now, but apart from that I can't say I really enjoy any of the grounds in our league.

Sheephead

There is quality throughout.

Paul Campbell at 19 is a real find and will develop to a higher level.

Steve Baldwin improves every game.

Grahame Hall played the real skipper's part yesterday.

All in all yesterday's performance second half was as good as I have seen them play this season and the fact that the defence kept it together, despite pressure, was particularly welcoming especially after APSA.

I know that we have played one more game then you however 20 goals against in 26 games is excellent.

Burnham 29 goals against in 25 games. If your defence are not donkeys I must assume that most are your fault or the first team goalie at any rate.

2, I think, but might have been 4.

I dont know - you recognise him by his style of play. He looks around and seeks to make his passes count. Will make strong runs into the box but can get caught in possesion.

Was the first town player to be treated for injury last night when number 9 got booked for a clash of feet. It was not worth a booking.

Better than Stanstead and Sarfend theough. The pitch was a disgrace and was only fit to play with oval balls.

Well done on a good second half performance lads. We deserved that.

What was up with their keeper, he ran all the way to the half way line ofr a shoving match. Grow up that man.

Totally disagree, Basildon is the worse ground in our league.

Totally agree Arky.
I like Stansted, cant stand Sarfend or the Abbey.
Burnham best by far.

Burnham's ground is good but I'm hoping the toilets next to the turnstile have improved. They were awful last season, no light, no running water and the smell was potent to say the least!

No running water can't believe that!
