Especially if he provides a stunning goal-line clearance like against Forest Green.

I don't think people should slag off Bill, it's up to him whether or not he makes the trip to Stonebridge Road, just like it is up to you if you sign a condolance card ect ect ect.

I genuingly think that Andy left because he felt the board didn't have confidence in him. Whether they did or not is a different matter but the fact is this is a message board and what would the point be if everybody said "I'll be there"? If all went along that didn't want to be there then, it wouldn't mean as much from those that were there because they actually wanted to be there.

Eh?? Is that even English?

Just joking, I think you're right, better to have 600 people there who want to be there rather than having loads more who are just there to moan.

Still, I think you'd have to be a right miserable b@$t@rd to not appreciate what Andy did for us.

Tough. He told us that he was going to take time off for his family. What did he do. He went straight to Stevenage. I afraid your insulting remark cuts no ice with me. Stay in the Medway towns where you belong

Excellent work, Bill - disregarding the many years that Andy spent working wonders for the club by virtue of one small comment following his resignation is an impressive achievement. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

It reminds me of when many people on here seemed to disregard Che's record as the club's 10th highest ever scorer simply because he hinted that Margate, when he joined them, might have been a bigger club than we are (a statement that, given their higher league position than ours the previous season and work on their (ultimately ill-fated) new ground due to begin, seemed perfectly reasonable).

Indeed JC, and it's not like he went "straight" to Stevenage, either Bill. He didn't say his reasons for resigning were to be with his family, but that as a result of his resignation he would be able to, but he'd jump at another chance in football. Which is exactly what he's done. You've just twisted his words cos you're too damned po-faced to give credit and support where it's due.

Like Harry says Bill's entitled to his opinion but I feel its sad people have to knock Andy after everything he achieved. The Club was going nowhere before Ford and he was also prepared to go that extra mile by attending fans forums and posting on here.

People are unduly critical of Daish but maybe thats because his predecessor was the best manager in non-league football given the resources he had to work with IMO.
