St Albans Away Day

It use to always just except St Albans!! To confuse matters if you buy a ticket from the machine it has St Albans City on it!!!

 

Only really checked as I was tempted to visit my EFM pals on Saturday for the game and was a bit disturbed when no service came up!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only person who had trouble trying to find the train to St Albans online. Who is going to travel by rail on Saturday? I may have to meet up with you on the way as I don't really fancy travelling in fancy dress by myself.

There are two St Albans stations! You need the City station unless you want a two hour trip each way and a walk up the hill.

If it's any help you can go from Upminster to Fenchurch Street, then tube to St Pancras and then Thameslink to St Albans City station.

Alternatively, leave your island on the bus to Benfleet (or whatever that place is called) and get the train to Fenchurch Street from there.
