St Albans Away Day

Hello everyone,

 

This is our last away trip on saturday so lets make it the best, after the year we had, lets let our hair down and have a good beano out to St Albans.

 

We are going to make this a FANCY DRESS, it will be a good laugh and its Saint Georges day, FANCY DRESS can be anything you like, and I will put on a prize for the best FANCY DRESS, IT WILL BE MY CHOICE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE LETS GO FANCY DRESS

 

THE COACH WILL LEAVE AT 12.15PM, SO CAN THE PEOPLE BE THERE AT 12.00 NOON.

I HAVE ALSO BEEN INFORMED THAT ONE CERTAIN PLAYER WILL ALSO GO FANCY DRESS WHEN THEY WARM UP YOU CAN SEE WHO AND WHAT HE IS WEARING.

For those not going on the coach, the trains look OK (as per the TFL website) although the District line is out after Whitechapel.

Are you sure UB's cos if you do a search on the National Rail, it gives nothing and I know they are rebuilding King's X Thameslink!

Also phoned up the Rail hotline and their search says no service as well.

Get off at West Ham and get the Hammersmith and City Line to Kings Cross. It's then a short walk across to St Pancras to get the Thameslink up to St Albans. Ground is five minutes walk from the station.

I only know that they didn't show any problems on the TFL wesite (except on the District Line). <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Fellas I know what the problem is. EC2 if you go on the National Rail site you have to type in ST ALBANS STATION. For some strange reason it won't except St Albans. I double checked to see if St Albans had more than two stations by entering the same journey I did a couple of weeks ago went I went up to St Albans. Exactly the same times came up.

 

There's no engineering problems on the line up to St Albans as all trains go from St Pancras not Kings Cross. This confused me when I travelled up a few weeks ago.

On the right tracks DH, but it would seem that not even the BR representatives knew that you had to type in station!

I meaN you wouldn't type airport would you?

And they want the Olympics!
