Sir Lippiatt!

Recommended Posts

It has been an amazing turnaround and as has been said before it's been done with a smaller amount of money. IMO it has been acheived by hard work, good tactics/coaching and more improtantly CL & NR (lets give him some credit too) seem to have instilled a fantastic spirit amongst what is a very young squad.

My only hope now is that we retain the best of what we have this season for next.

Can only concur with everything that has been said. This side, with only a few adjustments, has the potential to be a real force next term.

Well done to all concerned and once again - arise Sir Colin.

I agree Colin has done a fantastic job in securing the saints place in the division for another season on a very limited budget.

But huge credit must be given to John Gibson for appointing him in the first place

...agree but it was strange when you think back that CL was only supposed to be the coach and Staurt Cash the Manager. I'm told that CL had atually come out of retirement to help Stuart.

I've said it before and I'll say it again whatever happens next season I'll always be extremely greatful to CL for sticking around at a time when he could have easily walked away.

That's an interesting can of pasta that you've opened there, Mancini bella.

I suspect that the least said about the most unfortunate events surrounding the initial appointments of Stuart Cash, Colin Lippiatt and Nick Roddis to their respective roles in November, the better for everyone.

The most important thing is that Lord Lippiatt did, indeed, stick around and has achieved what many thought would be, if not impossible, extremely difficult. And its good football, too.

It will be good to put 9 or so on Grays tonight.

Hmmnnn.

Perhaps the arrangements for the street party should be delayed until he has "signed and committed his future to the Saints".

Great news. Well done Lord Lippiatt from me.

['Stabilisation' was a minor classic, Rob. Thanks for the reminder. I'm not so sure about 'positivity', however, Nos. To demonstate my faith, I read your post and immediately checked back to Rob's web-site to see if that word had, indeed, been used!]
