Sounded a lively game from the web commentary, I see Stevenage are still the dirty b******* they've always been. The atmosphere sounded excellent though, can't ever see the Fleet crowd all getting behind the team that much. Not that I'd want that awful PA man! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Shut up mate even the Mousse scored past you lot. We should have been 2-0 up at half time and Pinnock should have scored but was denied by the bar. We didn't win you did and while you didn't play fantastically well to still get the points is the sign of a good team.

Condidering the 3 or 4 key players we had out today I did`nt think we played to bad and although we lacked the cutting edge up front we certainly caused them problems at times especially set pieces. Although the front 2 played well I would have been interested to see how they fared against Roy`s heading ability. I thought we would be under the cosh most of the game but `boro surprised me - they wre certainly not as good as the likes of Woking, Halifax Morcombe etc. Was also pleased how easily the players adapted to 3 at the back - 2-0 flattered them.

Even if they did make the playoffs. From Saturday's performance I don't think they will win it. There are large number of better clubs in the league before you get to Stevenage!

It's still not really a possibility though is it. Even if they do make the play offs, which I really can't see them doing, they'll struggle because every team will up their game that little bit extra to make sure they get to the final, and then join Barnet in the league.

 

Talking of Barnet, my cousin went out with Liam Hatch the other week, and apparently he's on a no alcohol diet. It was his birthday, and he got absolutely rat a***d!

I take it that you are implying that my comment was another Fleetbabe moment then FF?

 

All I am saying is that the boro will be very, very lucky to make the playoffs, as all the teams above them will be upping their game as well, and the standard will be quite high.
