Regeneration and renewal magazine states "Plans to build a two mile cable car to carry hundereds of people across the Thames from south essex to north Kent are being worked upon. people would be able to get off at Gravesend . this will really put gravesend on the map"

 

Is this true?

This was proposed sometime ago as part of the rail link, with links also to the Croydon tram line, but I thought the plan had been shelved about coming out as far as Gravesend.

Thanks for letting us know about this mate, but I'm affraid only Gravesend & Northfleet stuff is allowed to be talked about on this forum. If you stray from those rules you could be punished by someone posting something like "and theres me thinking was was a footy forum, I'll never post again.
