SPONSORED WALK.............AGAIN

This time in two weeks everyone connected with Slough Town will hopefully be celebrating a fantastic victory in the Bryco Cup Final. Seven people though will be back in Bramley, two miles South of Guildford, having already covered 27 miles, getting ready to tackle a further 22 miles the next day.

 

I've been very pleased with the level of generosity people have shown in pledging money but we still neeed MORE. Even if it's only a few pounds, please spare whatever you can in support of the walkers who are raising money for YOUR Supporters Trust.

 

None of us know what will happen in the summer but invariably some crisis will ensue so please take this opportunity to give as much as you can to ensure we have done everything possible, should we find ourselves in the position of requiring funds.

Is it beyonds the realms of possibility for two cars to go and collect the 7 intrepid Slough walkers, take them to the game and then drop them back in Bramley afterwards ? Would this invalidate the sponsorship arrangements ? It seems such a shame for 7 such committed Rebels to miss it !!

Already partially in hand Mike. The walkers fully intend to be at the Cup Final on Thursday having walked to Bramley in advance of being collected.

 

We do still need one volunteer though to take us from Bramley to Staines. We have the return lifts covered. Let me know if you can help.
