Just spoke to a couple of Brimsdown players,could not take in what they told me Stuart Margolis formerley Eton Manor/Ilford/Leyton dropped his whole team the other night for a semi final versus Ruislip Manor.He brought in known players from Thurrock/Grays and wherever else.He told his own squad the other team will play in the Final v Waltham Abbey but expects his own players to be ok with this.I was told at least one player had to be held back from knocking Stuarts head off.Programe notes for final::Manager GUTLESS STUART, PLAYERS:::ANY RINGERS WHO ARE BETTER THAN WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE. Brimsdown should be ashamed.ONLY STUART IS TO BLAME,Waltham Abbey go and smash them.

I think its called the Middlesex Millenium Charity cup,big tournament well worth dropping all your squad for.

On a note with Stuart I think there is more behind it than him simply saying your all dropped.......half what you hear and nothing what you see....

a lot of my mates played in the game for brimsdown the other night. it is strange and i would be off if i was a brimsdown player.

 

it is a big cup in that it is played at brentford and played every 1000 years!

 

i think ruislip done well against a very good team!

Probably not a bad way of getting the players out that the management team want rid of. Would, by chance, the team this week comprise of many of those [except the Abbey players] that have been alleged to be joining Brimsdown next season?

Nothing surprises me after 30 odd years ( Including break) supporting Romford.

 

However results are the be all, end all for managers.

 

Sadly loyalty and commitment has taken a back seat in this journey.

 

If true the selector will have to deal with his future credibility with footballers with great care. Trust and honesty are not bought cheaply.

B. Dont blame us (and I know you aint) Mad world this footie thing is, my views are echoed by current players. There is winning and winning falsly. I dont believe its a case of trying to get rid of players, in fact I know diff, its all about winning for egos, and sadly that is not right in this case. It is very plain to see for all.

youll probably find that the current playing staff at brimsdown are not good enough to b eplaying there at he moment and wholesale changes needed to be made and if you spoke to any of the players that ent there from your club i would include them in the list of not being good enough

at the manor you have had one good season last year this year has not been a progression for you its been a step backward s and if you think signing players from canning town is a progression then i can guarantee you wont be doing anything next year either you have some quality players but i think you will struggle to hang on to them next year

and dave jenkins being god seriously if you think he is the answer i might start playing again

no problem being called a sort of player will be happy with my championship medal and cup winners medal hopefully just dont think its right mate that you should listen to your players at brimsdown ....

sure there is more to it and to be honest they have gone there and not really done the players i mean its a lot lower leve than the senior ....

as for the quinny incident i never said a word just have a bad reputation with some refs

So where you goin next year fella, cos if you can't get in the town side this season you've got no f**kin hope next. Obviously not a true east ender, as the word "grass" is mentioned in previous posts. LBTF, it's a good job their fans luv yer, cos the management don't. After watching stuart perform at the manor this season all i can say is thank f**k he went to brimsdown, after all the sh*t that happened to us this year, we just had to get on with it and if last season was a big one with you involved then there's still massive hope for this club,lets face it big fella you need 11 players to make a team, not 10 and a 50% striker with a pi** poor scoring record making up the other 1, have a good retirement and i promise to sign the card.

wont get in a slanging match no its been difficult to get in the town side but have enjoyed it and hopefully will get some medals as well as for next season will think and see what happens

whatever on the brimsdown front if you think its right the n fine who am i to argue

dont agree think you need a squad to mak e a team and as for my scoring record apologies i must have picked up the wrong trophies at presentation night
