What team would you guy's pick for the final?

The final is still two weeks away, and with so many games coming, injuries may be sustained - so I think it's difficult to predict a team at the moment. Glen Harris might not feature again this season as he's injured. I'd quite like to see that team play together however, with the exception of Parkin for Allaway as I don't think you could drop Michael at the moment. Metcalfe complements Wilko in the middle but it would be interesting to see a more attacking line-up with Mason and a fully-fit Harris in there with the ball-winner, Wilko.

Possibly controversial view but I'd play Hodgey at the back.

Subs:Parkin,Mets,Cann,Hodgey,

 

I would bring on hodgey for seedal at half time.

 

cann for matt murphy 70th as he gets tired.

 

mets for harris as i figure he wouldnt be fully fit anyway

I am almost tempted to agree with you Ian. Hodges has done exceptionally well filling in at centre half and Smurf 1 has certainly been performing well at left wing back - just look at his goals. However based on the last game a fully fit Hodges would come in for Seedel and hopefully by that stage Danny Steer will have full match sharpness.

Leigh Mason is cup tied, so I guess it's either Chopper or Veli.

Agree with Marcus. Only real decisions to me made is Allaway or Parkin IMO.

would then swap murphy for seedel if need be and have veli, shepherd and allaway on the bench

Almost right, Charlie! I'd go Parkin in goal too as he's proved over this last few games he's good enough. The only change I'd make to your team is Smurph2 for Cann. We're in a cup final - you can't leave out your leading scorer.

Would rather have Cann come on in the later stages when his pace could do some real damage to Hampton. Smurf 2 to start for me.

seeing as i'm not one of these OMGPICKOURBESTELEVENFORTHECUPFINALEXCITEMENTHUZZAHPLZ! people, I think the team we will put out will be the one best suited to the job in hand seleced from a whichever players our fit, and whoever does get in deserves their spot in the team and we should get behind them regardless of who plays and who doesn't
