Like many others I was at the game last night and could not believe what was unfolding in front of us. As a Margate fan I vividly remember Paul's contribution to our success and his total committment to the cause. This is a very sad loss to us all, but particulaly to his family.

 

It does - of course - put football in perspective, although I believe it was so very important to Paul. The right words are difficult to find at times like this. All I can say is that I found my mind drifting often today so goodness knows what it's like for those that "really" know Paul - I can't imagine.

 

Here's hoping that the game at Folkestone between Dover and Margate at Folkestone on 2nd May is a fitting tribute.
