Perhaps before i start the post off i wonder if the club would consider a stand or end being in his name when it is built.

 

Also, i think its an incredible coincidence when the new ground starts the day after the passing of one of only a handful of legends at the great MFC.

 

No. 1 . For me it has to be the winding up of the silent crowd on a grey windy day in i think 1998 when we wee playing Raunds Town. We were all packed up the Social end cos the other end had storm damage. 2 nil down i think and not a single bit of singing or even enthusiasm. Paul embarrassed all of us and really let rip. "Why you bother coming" or something like that. Quite right i thought at the time. Never saw it that quiet again.

 

Perhaps others may like to name a fond memory. Quite frankly i can think of loads but........
